FAITH FORMATION NEWS Calendar of Events - July 2004 July 9-11 - Diocesan Catholic Youth Conference (DCYC) July 23-25 - LOVE Retreat Lion's Lambs: Lion's Lambs is a children's ministry for children age birth to five years and their caregivers. They normally met in the St. Mark nursery on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. throughout the year, except when the office is closed. Please contact Gina Martin at 940-891-2761 for information. Lion's Cubs: Lion's Cubs is a ministry program for children from K through 2nd and their caregivers that meets from 3:30 to 5:15 p.m. on the first Sunday of the month from September through May (except January, when the meet on the second Sunday), in Room D10. Each meeting will consists of prayer, a craft or activity related to the Catholic faith, a snack and social time. Please contact volunteer co-coordinators Gina Martin, 940-891-2761, or Cindy Gray, 940-535-1165, for information. Lion's Pride: Lion's Pride welcomes all 3rd, 4th and 5th graders! We are looking forward to another fun and exciting year and hope you can join us. We socialize and have fun Christian topics to discuss and participate in. Regular meetings are held from 3:30 to 5:15 p.m. on the first Sunday of the month (except for January when they meet on the second Sunday), in Room D8. Children's Liturgy of the Word: Father will call for the children when we have ministers available to serve. Parents are always welcome to accompany their children if they wish to do so. Unfortunately, we do not have enough ministers to be able to have Children's Liturgy of the Word every week at every Mass. Training and materials are provided. Ministers always work as a team, so you are never alone.
