The Divine Mercy Chaplet |
| |
1. Make the Sign of
the Cross.
2.
Say this Optional Opening Prayer:
"O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus
as a fountain of Mercy for us, I Trust in You!"(3x)
3. Pray the Lord’s Prayer: "Our Father..."
4. Pray to the Virgin Mary: "Hail Mary..."
5. Say the Apostle’s Creed: "I Believe in God..."
6. Begin w/each Large bead: "Eternal Father, I offer you the
Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son,
Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of
the whole world."
7.On each of the ten small beads, say "For the Sake of His
Sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world."
8. Repeat for the remaining decades.
9. Conclude with Holy God: "Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy
Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world." (Say it
3 times) "Jesus, I Trust in You!"
