• Sunday Night Sessions Program
is designed to explore topics within groups of middleschoolers
according to grades. Each is led by a trained adult team of 2 adults.
This year we will have one session for 6th, 7th, and
8th graders. Friends are always welcome. We share the
celebration of Mass and pizza before settling down into discussion
groups.
• T.G.I.F.
(To Gather In Faith) ministry is focused on gathering middle school
youth on a monthly basis. These gatherings will bring
together friends, faith, food, and fascination for our young people.
Each event will stand alone and youth may come to one or all of
them. Whenever these events occur off of St. Mark property required
paperwork must accompany each youth that attends. Forms can be found in
the MS YM office, or in the RE office. Watch our
bulletin or our website for specific information. If you have any ideas
for activities or excursions, please contact the MS YM office.
• Parenting 201 reaches out to
parents of adolescents with helpful guidelines, expectations, and issues
that are relevant to today's
household. We will cover the Adolescent Issues of Development,
Discipline, and Developmental Assets. Our dates for gathering are TBA.
• Adult Leadership Team
is a group of adults that are committed to the quality of youth ministry
for middle schoolers at St. Mark. This group helps in the planning,
preparing and executing of our goals and the necessary strategies
throughout the year.
• Disciple Team is
the youth leadership team that ensures our events and activities are
appropriate and relevant to their age group. This team meets on a
regular basis and is responsible for aspects of our ministry events.
Participation is based upon invitation.
