Programs are offered for children from age 3 through the 5th grade from September through May.  Generally, students meet on Sunday mornings
(10:15am – 11:15am), Wednesday evenings (5:15pm-6:15pm), or participate in a home study program. Age appropriate instruction and material is provided for all age levels including those participating in home study.

Children’s Social Ministries include Lion’s Lambs and Lion’s Pride.  These programs provide children with an opportunity to play and learn about their faith with other children their own age. Vacation Bible School is offered during June for children who will be age four by the next September through fifth grade.  Our middle school and high school students assist in the presentation of Vacation Bible School.

Children's Liturgy of the Word:  This ministry allows children, grades K-4, to experience the Sunday readings and homily on a level they can understand.  Offered once each month at the Sunday 9:00 a.m. Mass, Father will call for the children to come forward and dismiss them for the readings.  Parents are always welcome to accompany their children if they wish to do so.  If you would like to help with this important ministry or have questions, please contact Silvia Lesko, Director of Religious Education, at slesko@stmarkdenton.org.  Training and materials are provided; leaders always work in teams of at least 2.

Lion's Pride: This children’s social group will meet twice per year for activities that are fun and educational.  Check the bulletin for activity announcements.
